How many translators will work on my text?

Ideally there will be a single translator (not counting the editor), which would ensure best terminological/lexical consistency and simplify quality control.
However, in reality it may not be possible in many cases, firstly – due to the tough deadline. For that reason most often a group of translators works on the text. At Language Interface we ensure quality through the following measures:

  • There are no strangers in the team, all translators in the workgroup are the permanent members of our team
  • Quality assurance are applied at all steps of the process – when getting prepared for translation, in the course of translators’ work, at the final QC
  • Terminological consistency is achieved through close cooperation between all individuals involved in the process and use of distributed lexical resources

Regardless of the number of process members a single individual – the translation editor – is responsible for the outcome.
