Does the cost of translaiton depend on the deadline?
Not at Language Interface. Although many translation companies charge extra for “urgent” or “rush” translaiton we do not share this approach. If a translation job can be done by the deadline it is not urgent. If it cannot be done, the very concept or urgency does not make sense.
That is why we do not add a penny to the price calculated as a product of the word count in the original to the standard translation rate per word. Still, we guarantee full compliance with the requirements to translation quality and the deadline. Deadline compliance is assured with the precision of 5 minutes.
To comply with the client’s requirements when the time is scarce we use such methods as optimal planning, real-time collaboration between the translation team and the editor, share use of the terminology base and other methods.
